Who's Alan Hogan?
Alan Hogan on irlantilainen taiteilija joka nyt asuu Karjaalla. Hogan muutti Suomeen vuonna 2007 ja on sen jälkeen perustanut yrityksen nimeltä Art Garage. Yrityksen tarkoitus on markkinoida ja myydä Hoganin taidetta.Hoganin taulut ovat olleet näytteillä hänen omassa työpajassaan ja monissa julkisissa paikoissa. Hän on myös osallistunut Helsinki Design Week 2010-tapahtumaan Helsinin Kaapelitehtaalla ja Taidekierros 2010-tapahtumaan.Hogan käyttää paljon kirkkaita värejä ja on luonut oma maalaustekniikansa, joka hän kutsuu neo-pointillismiksi.
Alan Hogan is a visual artist born in Ireland and now based in Karjaa. Since moving to Finland in 2007, he has set up a company called The Art Garage from where he promotes and sells his art. He has had his paintings on display at his studio and various venues. He has also participated in Helsinki Design Week 2010 at The Cable Factory, Konstrundan 2010, Sanomatalo and two concurrent exhibitions at Jade Gallery in Kallio during 2011. Hogan uses bright colours with his own style of painting to create a variety of likeable subjects and scenes.
